Holiday Lighting

A classic Christmas

A clean roofline and softly lit bare branches give this brick façade its festive character. The warm light follows the architecture, leaving the house itself in view.

The lighting notes
  • Follow the shape of the roof
  • Give the entrance a clear focal point
  • Keep the light color consistent

Outdoor Lighting

An evening around the table

A few strands of bistro light settle over the dining table. Warm wall lights keep the surrounding brickwork visible without competing with the gathering.

The lighting notes
  • Frame the space where people gather
  • Use softer accents at the edges
  • Balance the patio with its surroundings

Seasonal Décor

The seasonal doorway

Bronze lanterns, a simple ribbon and a few lit branches bring the entrance into the season. The natural materials do most of the talking.

The lighting notes
  • Keep the door the focal point
  • Balance the lanterns with softer light
  • Choose a few seasonal details

Outdoor Lighting

Still-water evenings

Low, warm lighting traces the pool and terrace. Reflections carry it across the water while the house and seating remain softly visible.

The lighting notes
  • Light the places where you sit
  • Keep bright sources out of the view
  • Let reflections do some of the work

Outdoor Lighting

A courtyard after dark

Light catches the fountain and the worn brickwork around it. Keeping the brightest points low makes the small courtyard feel calm and intimate.

The lighting notes
  • Use warm light to reveal texture
  • Give steps their own gentle illumination
  • Preserve the quiet corners

Seasonal Décor

A porch for the season

A fine line of warm bulbs, bronze lanterns and lit branches give the porch a seasonal lift. There is still room for the door, the bench and everyday life.

The lighting notes
  • Follow the porch line
  • Leave the entry clear
  • Repeat a warm light color

Holiday Lighting

The way home

A few carefully placed lights reveal the oak’s branches and the drive below. The route stays easy to follow, with the house waiting quietly beyond.

The lighting notes
  • Give the approach a sense of rhythm
  • Concentrate light on selected branches
  • Balance the entrance with the house
